Filled with all sorts of unusuals!!!

It’s oborodh(blockade) today, and I’m the only student present at the Department right now. There is no problem with transportation… I wonder why no one is present !!!

To add to the list of odds, I’m writing this blog using OpenOffice.org from Ubantu, a Linux OS.

We all have Yahoo 360 Team in our favourate list. The team proposes blog topic of the day from time to time. Well, I’m not that regular, even I don’t visit the team blog regularly. But better late than never.

So here goes the list of blog topics suggested (the lower in the list, the older it’s proposed)

1. What’s the best book-to-movie translation you’ve ever seen?

(I do see lots of movies, but reading story or novels… I’ve other books to read. LoL Image)

2. Where were you on September 11, 2001?

(I was in Chittagong. I think I’ll blog later… May be next year.)

3. What did you do on your summer vacation?

(We had 2nd year final exam… So it’s not a vacation at all.)

4. What was the best advice you ever received? What was the worst?

(That’s confusing… Hey, Did I ever get any advice!!!Image)

5. What was the first movie you remember watching in the theater?

(Haven’t yet been to the theatre… Isn’t it strange??? Eka eka to theatre e jete eccha kore na, may be someday with someone Image)

6. What one song underscores THE defining moment of your life?

(Hmmm… That’s an interesting question… Let me think about it… Nah, that should be kept secret. Otherwise, secret out hoye jete pare Image)

7. If you were sucked into the TV and forced to live on a television show for 24 hours, which show would you be on and why?

(Image Hmmm… Tricky question… May be some sort of SciFi… with lots of adventures…)

8. What is your earliest childhood memory?

(This is a good question.)

I’ll start with the 8th one. Actually I had two events in my mind, one involving my Grandfather (That’s the only memory I’ve about him.) The other was a lucky recover of a lost child. I asked mom which event was earlier… she gave her nod to the recovery one.

From my profile you can see I spent significant portion of my life in KSA (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia). In fact, I spent more than half of my life there. I was 3 or 4 years old then. We went to Medinah, the city of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). I can still remember the day, but the memory seems kind of blurred. I went to Masjid al-Nabawi with dad. As the prayer started, dad told me to sit down at a place (most probably by the side of a pillar). He started saying his prayer. After a while, I couldn’t find him. I got scared. I started to run between the Quatars (the rows of devotees) searching my dad. Still I was unable to find him.

As far as I can remember, I thought it would be better to search mom. The mosque had a different Female section. So, as far as I remember, I left the Male section for mom. Most probably Tanaeem was with her. Alas!!! I couldn’t find her either. (Finding out her would have been a miracle.) To make things worse, I guess I lost the pillar as well. Thus now Dad also lost me.

That’s the END of my memory.

Mom and Dad says, the manager of the hotel where we were staying found me and took me to the hotel. I guess crying mom grabbed me when she found her son is already at the hotel before them (Mom never told she was crying, but there is no mother who will not shed tear when her son is lost… R amar Ammu to….Image).
