Which One Did I Choose?

In my blog, “Which One Would You Choose?” I tried to draw a picture of human life. It was only part of it. I had completely different thing in my mind. Reading that blog anyone would think me as depressed, lonely person. Actually I thought about writing this blog, later on I decided what if I give completely opposite impression and see how readers react. All I wanted comments and I got some great comments. Fortunately or unfortunately some of the comments were words which I had in my mind for this blog. Anyway, still I’ve decided to go with this.

Life is all about enjoying own-self and every moment of it. It’s not a place where you’ll bother about what others will think or what others are going to feel. Moments which are gone, are gone forever. It’s better not to regret later in life,” Why I’ve never tried this?”

One shouldn’t live because s/he has to live. Rather s/he should live up his/her own life. Life is not a game where everyone is bound to be defeated; rather it’s a game where no one can be loser. May be on many occasions the game didn’t go the way you would have liked to, but still it is full of adventure, joy, surprise, sorrow, drama and so on. And trust me, every moment of it is itself worthy.

Choosing between Case A, B and C doesn’t matter much. What matters is, “Am I enjoying it?” If the answer is, “Yes” then being in any of these three groups doesn’t matter… even being in Case C, which someone might say a losing choice. In fact, life isn’t limited to these three options only. There are many more dimensions of life.

Life isn’t simply a mirage or deception. It’s a reality. There are tough situations, there are moments to be cheered, there are so many obstacles, and again there are millions of bounties… and all of these aren’t meaningless… they all are true… all these moments really existed… if you don’t enjoy them when they are there, you’ll never get them back. One has to feel each and every moment…

It’s My Life…… I ain’t gonna live forever… I just want to live while I’m alive.

“It’s My Life”
By Bon Jovi

This ain’t a song for the broken-hearted
No silent prayer for the faith-departed
I ain’t gonna be just a face in the crowd
You’re gonna hear my voice
When I shout it out loud.

[Chorus:]
It’s my life
It’s now or never
I ain’t gonna live forever
I just want to live while I’m alive
(It’s my life)
My heart is like an open highway
Like Frankie said
I did it my way
I just wanna live while I’m alive
It’s my life

This is for the ones who stood their ground
For Tommy and Gina who never backed down
Tomorrow’s getting harder make no mistake
Luck ain’t even lucky
Got to make your own breaks

[Chorus:]
It’s my life
And it’s now or never
I ain’t gonna live forever
I just want to live while I’m alive
(It’s my life)
My heart is like an open highway
Like Frankie said
I did it my way
I just want to live while I’m alive
‘Cause it’s my life

Better stand tall when they’re calling you out
Don’t bend, don’t break, baby, don’t back down

[Chorus:]
It’s my life
And it’s now or never
‘Cause I ain’t gonna live forever
I just want to live while I’m alive
(It’s my life)
My heart is like an open highway
Like Frankie said
I did it my way
I just want to live while I’m alive

[Chorus:]
It’s my life
And it’s now or never
‘Cause I ain’t gonna live forever
I just want to live while I’m alive
(It’s my life)
My heart is like an open highway
Like Frankie said
I did it my way
I just want to live while I’m alive
‘Cause it’s my life!

Hard to accept, yet we've to...

This blog entry was never planned, well, contemporary events are never planned anyway!

I woke up this morning with an exam next Sunday, huge syllabus still unread and untouched. Before starting I wanted to check rss feeds in flock and then this shocking news!!!! Lara is going to retire from International Cricket after this world cup. I knew he was going to retire from ODI’s, but it is really hard to accept that we’ve already seen his last test… feeling so bad. In this world, there are so many things or persons or feelings, you want to carry on, but you’ve to let them go… It’s hard to accept, yet we all have to accept.

I was always a fan of West Indies cricket, and Brian Lara was my favourate…

Another blog, paying tribute to one of the greatest batsman in the history of cricket after his last match against England… Wish him best of luck with that match and his future life.
